” I didn’t want to leave Le Jardin because I actually got my work done and wasn’t distracted. They taught me how to keep calm in stressful situations. The workers there were very understanding and warm. I wish I could go back.”

“School Counselling services provided by Le Jardin Educatif have had a great impact on both the Mental and Emotional well-being and academic performance of our students. Le Jardin offers safe and welcoming services and tailored strategies to help students manage challenges by equipping them with the tools they needed to succeed.
A small snapshot of success stories –
(1) Incredibly anxious teen learned coping skills that allowed them to get back into class and learn.
(2) 12 year old Autistic student is gaining self-confidence that is spilling over into the classroom and playground.”
The Alternative Suspension Program offered at Le Jardin has been incredibly valuable. The academic and behavioural programming is an excellent alternative to the regular out of school suspension. Students are keeping up with academics while spending time in a safe and supervised setting.
Our use of the services has proven to be invaluable in promoting the well-being and academic success of our students. Students know the days they are coming, and they know they will be listened to, cared for, and guided in the right direction.”

” With wait lists common for our students when accessing emotional and social support through public services, Le Jardin provides tangible and accessible options to help support the diverse needs of our students. The multi-faceted programs offered (alternative suspension, in-school, and summer programs) provide support for not only social and emotional needs, but also academic support.
Often students first connect with the program through an alternative suspension where a positive connection is established with staff. In addition to the academic support, students have the opportunity to reflect and look for strategies to deal with the challenges in the school. The connection with staff can be maintained, even after the student returns to school, through the in-school program. For many students, tangible improvements in both behaviours and academics have been noted.
For one of our grade 11 students, several years ago we credit Le Jardin for the students successful attainment of a high school diploma.”

” It has never been easy to be a teenager and today’s societal challenges are making things even more complex for our students to navigate, and for us to support them.
We are very thankful to have a reliable and trusted resource like Le Jardin who are ready to help our kids with understanding and patience.
With Le Jardin as a partner, our students can continue to learn with guided help and there is social and emotional help provided at every step.”

“I really enjoyed learning about gardening and being outdoors all day. The animators at the summer camp were a lot of fun and I really liked the trips we got to go on. 10/10 recommend!”
